i hope this one's not going to be graded... i just want to inform people on what my other blogs are gonna be about...as we all know...we're required to post at least 5 blogs per week...in which one of our topics will be chosen by our instructor...the other 4 or more will be our personal choices...since it's our choice...my topics would be more about myself, love, kikay stuff and something that i'm fond of...if anyone of you has something against that, i wouldn't really care at all because this is what i want...it's our personal choice as we call it... and i do hope if you criticize anything about my blog or anything in my blog, i hope you'd focus on how i write stuff...not on my topics...because sometimes, my topics can be out of this world...teeeheee!...i might start posting tomorrow or on monday...that's about it...toodles!...much love!...have a great weekend!...God Bless!... ^_^

Good job on this one, Gabby. You're the first to post an entry for our blog project.
Don't worry. This one's not going to be graded. But this won't exempt you from my comments either. *WINK*
Let me tell you about what I notice in your first entry.
1. You use a lot of ellipses. Ellipses are those three dots following each other, like this "..." Use them only to indicate text that has been deliberately left out. Otherwise, your sentences will project an image of someone who is unsure about what s/he is writing about.
2. Your post disregards proper capitalization. The letter of the first word in a sentence should always be capitalized.
3. I'm unsure if you frequently use words like "gonna" and "wanna". Such words are considered informal, even barbaric (according to many language experts). Please avoid them; use the proper way instead: "going to" for "gonna" and "want to" for "wanna." In informal, everyday conversation, "gonna" and "wanna" may be used safely.
4. You might also want to organize your posts into chunks of thought, properly divided into paragraphs. Just as each sentence must talk about one main idea (the so-called "one-idea-one-sentence" rule in writing), each of your paragraphs must also talk about a central idea. We follow this rule to ensure coherence and unity in our writing.
You are right. I don't care about the topics that bloggers write about. At least not for the bloggers from my class. I dwell more on how they make a boring topic sound interesting. In contrast, one can write about a very interesting topic but render it boring because of writing lapses.
The good news, however, is that we are involved in the blog project so that we can improve our writing.
So, keep on blogging, Gabby. You're right on track.
